To promote sailing and thereby recognise and preserve our cultural ancestry, protect and conserve our oceans, lagoons, marine parks & waterways, contribute to a sustainable environment, create a powerful mix of traditional and modern sailing, achieve broad participation, recognition and support for our endeavours, ignite the competitive voyaging spirit into better competition and healthier outdoor pursuits, whilst developing sailing for the benefit of the people and the growth of all communities of the Cook Island.

The Mission is to deliver upon the vision of the importance of Sailing to our existence. Celebrate sailing in the Cook Islands and protect our greatest natural resource, our oceans and lagoons.

By developing the importance of sailing amongst the many options in sport today we will achieve the philosophy, valuing our ancestors and charting the future of Sailing.
