The Extreme Sailing Series Is Getting Tighter

The final act of the Extreme Sailing Series will be taking place from November 30 to December 3. With only a week left for the final act, the eight teams from eight sailing nations are looking to get the better of the other in order to be in a good position when they enter the final act stage. The Act 7 is seeing a very good tussle between the teams.

At present, the SAP Extreme Sailing team is having a very good season and is on top of the pack. There is nothing to show that they are slowing down despite putting up one good performance over the other. Even though the Danish team is showing very good form, one still cannot say that they are in a very good position to win the event. The race is in a critical period and anything can happen in the Extreme Sailing event.

Adam Minoprio, the Kiwi helm of the SAP team, is in his first season in the Extreme Sailing Series. He said that he is very happy to be part of this team. He said that the competition was tough in the last few acts and to get to the last act with a few points in their kitty is always a good sign. But, he is aware that the points in the bag do not guarantee the team a first place at the end of Act 8 as there is a lot more left in the race. The team needs to do very well in Los Cabos. He said that one small mistake or a slip up can turn out to be a disaster for the team and can also cost them the Series.

Adam said that concentrating on the final act will be tough when the teams get to Los Cabos. This is a new host for the Extreme Sailing Series and is known for its surfing, fishing and beach culture.
